Scott goes to SCHOOL!!!

Wednesday was Scott's official School Visit (and I'm saying first day of school). Daddy took the morning off so we could all go. We only stayed less than 1 hour but it was enough time for Scott to have snack time with his new school friends and explore his room. We got to meet his teacher, Miss Lee (not sure how she actually spells her name yet).

Isn't the furniture cute!! (and the "just my size" sink is adorable!!!)

Monday he will go for 3 hours and I will leave him there... I don't expect any tears (from mommy) because I know he is going to have so much fun there and learn so many things... Ryan and I expect him to pick up so many new words by this summer (just hopefully we don't pick up too many bad habits or colds)

Enjoy the pictures!

Levi is One Month Old!

Scott's Birthday

The original "Dunn in the Oven" is now 2 years old... Doesn't fee like 2 years... doesn't even feel like it's been a year since his first birthday.

We opted not to have a party for him this year... We were unsure how Levi's arrival would affect him or if we would even been organized enough to have a birthday party with a newborn. Although Scott has been great about Levi, I'm still ok with the decision not to have had the party. We still wanted Scott to feel special so I ordered balloons (a big number 2 and an Elmo), I made a special cake just for him and another cake for Ryan and I to actually eat. After his nap, we wanted to take him somewhere special for him to have some fun. We decided to drive over to Chuck-e-cheese and let him run around, however, we did not get out of the car... the place was PACKED... afterall, it was 5pm on a Saturday night... the prime time for a family game place... so instead we took him over to the mall and let him play at the indoor playground that he loves... then we took a dinner break and ate at the food court before heading back to the playground. Levi did excellent.. sleeping in the stroller the whole visit.

It was a great day!

I'll be working on getting his 2 year pictures over the next couple of weeks. I finally just last week found some clothes that I like for him.. now I just have to get him to let me take the pictures....

Thank you, Grandma....

Grandma Dunn left us this weekend after a great visit. She got Scott up every morning so I could catch a few extra zz's with Levi before starting our day. She also did a lot of babysitting even giving Ryan and I the chance to eat out on Valentines Day. Tomorrow will be my first official day on my own.. wish me luck. Thursday I take both boys to the dr for their 1 month and 2 year check-ups... both will be getting shots, this should be interesting.. I have taken them both out before on my own, but only to friends houses.

Wednesday Scott is going to make a visit at his new Pre-school!!!! Starting the first week of March, he is going to start going two mornings a week with other 2 & 3 year olds. I'm excited for him, I know he will love being around the other kids and getting to play with new toys. The school is so close to our house that when the weather is warm enough, I plan on walking him there with Levi. I'll post more about how it goes later.

Happy Birthday, Scott Matthew!

So much to see...

Scott's Idea of Cleaning...

Thank you, Grandma!

Grandma Litton just left today after spending the week being my personal slave. She cooked, she cleaned, she babysat... all at my command. It was great to take Scott out a couple of times by myself, even if it was just to the grocery store... I want him to feel like he is just as important as Levi needs lots of attention.

Thanks again, Grandma!! (guess we should have taken more pictures...)

Levi's Newborn Pictures

I have finished Levi's newborn pictures. I'll post a copy of the birth announcement after I receive them and can get them out in the mail. Here are some of my absolute favorites and the rest can be viewed in the album at the bottom of this post.
