Soccer

One thing about Scott turning 3 that has made me super excited is that he can now do more Park District activities! We enrolled him in gymnastics and soccer. This is from Soccer's first practice. I think he did GREAT! and best of all.. he was not the crying kid! Sorry the video is random, but I was trying to keep Levi from running on the floor.

He is still working on the 'no hands' but we are getting there. We had our second practice last night and he did even better! There is no actual game since this is really just for learning basics and having fun. Scott is wearing navy blue pants and sweat pants.

So... Scott turned 3... what a big year he had... He started off his 3's as a big brother and by the end of it, they are actually playing together. Just today they were laughing and wrestling around. Levi loves him so much. Scott still isn't big into sharing, but knows Levi always get some toy.. he is learning to 'trade' with Levi.

HIs speech is coming along great! He was enrolled in Will County's Early Intervention program and saw great therapist for the last 6 months. We are now starting to see a speech therapist at the local school once a week. He talks a lot (which is already an improvement), but now we want him to expand his vocabulary and he needs to work on putting multiple sentences together.

I have continued to take Wednesday pictures (which are really more just like a weekly picture) since our days are so crazy. You can see lots of his activities including his first train set, first day at school, first trip to Santa, first snow blizzard and into him actually playing with Levi. Another great year.

Birthday Party!

Sorry for the lack of posts, but life is busy... even when it is slow. Lots has been happening with us.. Scott turned 3!!! We did a joint birthday party this year (and probably will for the next couple more years). Having a 'theme' sorta fell through, but Scott did have a train-set birthday cupcake and Levi has little monsters, just like his halloween costume that mommy loved so much.

I've already picked up invites for next year because I saw them at Target and I already knew what theme I wanted... Now I just have to store them somewhere I won't forget about....
